Change at Afienya
The Tema–Mpakadan line runs as two shuttles: Tema Harbour–Afienya and Afienya–Adomi. To go beyond Afienya, change trains there. There is no passenger train to Mpakadan.

Services are limited and the train doesn't wait. Get to the platform at least 10 minutes before departure.

Cattle on the line halt Accra–Tema service for a day
On 21 May 2026 a train came off the rails after striking stray cattle near Avenor, and service was suspended for the rest of that day.
